What Responsible Gaming Means at WNPH

Responsible gaming isn't just a section buried in the footer — at WNPH, it's a genuine part of how the platform is built and operated. We believe that online gaming should be a source of entertainment for Filipino players, not a source of stress, debt, or family conflict. If it stops being fun, something needs to change, and WNPH is here to help make that change easier.

A lot of Filipinos enjoy recreational gambling — watching the PBA and placing a bet on your favourite team, playing Tongits with friends for real prizes, or spinning jackpot slots after a long day. That's completely normal and something WNPH is proud to support. But responsible gaming means being honest with yourself about why you're playing, how much you're spending, and how you feel when things don't go your way.

WNPH's responsible gaming framework is built on three pillars: prevention (making it easy to set limits before problems develop), detection (providing tools to help you recognise early warning signs), and intervention (making it simple to get help, take a break, or self-exclude without any stigma or delay).

We ask every WNPH member to keep a few basic principles in mind every time they play. Treat your gaming budget the same way you'd treat money set aside for leisure — once it's gone, it's gone for that session. Never chase losses. If you find yourself betting more to recover what you lost, that's a red flag worth paying attention to. And remember that the odds in any casino game are designed to favour the house over time, so wins should be treated as a bonus, not a guarantee.

WNPH also recognises that problem gambling can affect anyone — regardless of income, age group, or how long someone has been playing. It's not a character flaw, and it's not something to be ashamed of. What matters is recognising it early and using the resources available.

Gaming Is Entertainment, Not a Financial Strategy

This is one of the most important things to remember when using WNPH. No betting system, lucky charm, or game strategy guarantees consistent profit over time. If you're relying on WNPH earnings to pay bills, cover loans, or fund daily expenses, that's a sign that gaming has moved beyond entertainment into harmful territory. WNPH is designed for enjoyment — not as a second income source.

Before any gaming session at WNPH, we encourage members to ask themselves: Am I playing because I want to have fun, or because I'm trying to win back money? Am I using funds I can't afford to lose? Am I hiding my gaming activity from family or friends? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, please use the tools on this page or contact WNPH support for guidance.

WNPH responsible gaming tools are free and always available. You don't need to explain yourself or wait for approval. Deposit limits, session reminders, and self-exclusion can all be set directly through your WNPH account or by emailing support@wnph.best.

Protection Tools

WNPH Responsible Gaming Tools for Filipino Players

Every tool described below is available to all WNPH members at no cost. You can activate them through your account settings or by contacting WNPH support at any time.

01
Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you can deposit to WNPH. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Limits take effect immediately; increases require a 24-hour cooling-off period.

02
Session Reminders

WNPH can notify you when you have been in an active gaming session for a set duration — 30 minutes, one hour, or a custom interval you choose. These reminders encourage natural breaks and help prevent extended unplanned sessions.

03
Cool-Off Period

Request a temporary break from WNPH without fully closing your account. Cool-off periods can range from 24 hours to 30 days. Your account is inactive during this time and no marketing is sent to you.

04
Self-Exclusion

Request a longer-term or permanent exclusion from WNPH. During a self-exclusion, your account is suspended, login is blocked, and all marketing is stopped. Re-activation requires a mandatory waiting period and a formal review.

To activate any responsible gaming tool: go to your WNPH account settings and look for "Responsible Gaming", or email support@wnph.best with the subject "Responsible Gaming Request". All requests are processed within one business day.

Core Principles

Six Principles of Responsible Gaming at WNPH

These are the everyday habits and mindsets that keep gaming enjoyable and manageable for WNPH members across the Philippines.

Set a Budget Before You Start

Decide how much you are comfortable spending before you open any WNPH game or place any bet. Treat that amount the same way you'd treat money spent on a night out — once it's used, the session ends. Never dip into savings, rent money, or funds for bills.

Set Time Limits per Session

It is easy to lose track of time when you are playing, especially during live PBA games or Tongits tables. Use WNPH's session reminder tool or set an external alarm before you start playing to keep each session within a planned window.

Never Chase Losses

Chasing losses — betting more to recover what you've already lost — is one of the most common patterns in problem gambling. If a session isn't going your way, close the app and come back another time. WNPH games are always available; your next session doesn't need to be tonight.

Don't Play Under Pressure

If you've had a hard day, received bad news, or are feeling emotional, that is not the right time to open WNPH. Decisions made under stress or emotional duress tend to be impulsive, and impulsive betting almost always leads to regret. Play when you're relaxed and in control.

Be Honest with Your Loved Ones

If you feel the need to hide your gaming activity from your partner, parents, or close friends, that is a signal worth paying attention to. Healthy recreational gaming doesn't need to be a secret. Being open about it with the people you trust is a strong protective habit.

Ask for Help Early

You do not need to be in crisis to reach out. If gaming is causing any stress, financial worry, or conflict at home, please contact WNPH support or use the self-exclusion tool. Getting help early — before things escalate — is always the right call.

Practical Tips

Everyday Habits for Safer Gaming at WNPH

Keep gaming on one deviceUsing WNPH on one phone or tablet makes it easier to track your time and spending rather than switching between multiple devices.
Turn off push notificationsPromotional alerts can trigger impulsive sessions. Disable WNPH notifications when you are not actively planning to play.
Schedule gaming in advanceTreat WNPH time like any other leisure activity — schedule it, stick to the planned duration, and stop when time is up.
Review your transaction historyWNPH account history shows exactly what you have deposited and withdrawn. Check it weekly to keep an accurate picture of your net spend.
Take regular breaksStep away from the screen regularly — every 30 to 45 minutes. Even a short break helps reset your focus and reduces impulsive decision-making.
Separate gaming money from everyday fundsKeep your WNPH budget in a separate GCash wallet or allocated amount so it never overlaps with money for rent, groceries, or bills.

Self-Exclusion

How Self-Exclusion Works at WNPH

Self-exclusion is the strongest responsible gaming tool WNPH offers. When you request a self-exclusion, your account is immediately suspended. You will not be able to log in, deposit, place bets, or play any games for the duration of the exclusion period. All marketing communications are also stopped.

WNPH offers two types of self-exclusion:

  • Temporary self-exclusion: Choose a period ranging from 30 days to 12 months. After the period ends, you must actively request reinstatement — accounts are not automatically reactivated.
  • Permanent self-exclusion: Your WNPH account is permanently closed. Funds are returned to your registered payment method. A permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed.

To request a self-exclusion, email support@wnph.best with the subject "Self-Exclusion Request" and specify whether you want a temporary or permanent exclusion, and if temporary, the duration. WNPH will process all self-exclusion requests within one business day.

After self-exclusion: WNPH will not allow reinstatement requests during the exclusion period, regardless of the reason given. This is a deliberate design choice to protect members.
Age Verification

Protecting Minors at WNPH

WNPH is strictly for adults aged 21 and above. Age verification is performed during registration and again before the first withdrawal. WNPH may request a government-issued ID — such as a Philippine passport, driver's licence, PhilSys card, or UMID — at any time.

If you are a parent or guardian and are concerned that a minor may have accessed WNPH using your device or payment account, contact WNPH support immediately at support@wnph.best. Any account identified as belonging to a minor will be closed and any funds deposited will be reviewed and returned.

We recommend enabling device parental controls and keeping your WNPH login credentials private — particularly your GCash or Maya details — to prevent minors from accessing your account.

Underage Gambling Prevention
  • Never share your WNPH password or PIN with family members under 21.
  • Log out of WNPH when using a shared phone or tablet.
  • Do not leave the WNPH app open and unattended on a device that children can access.
  • Report suspected underage accounts to support@wnph.best immediately.
Common Questions

Responsible Gaming at WNPH — FAQ

Absolutely — in fact, we encourage all WNPH members to use deposit limits as a default habit, not just a last resort. Setting a limit when you're in a calm, rational state is the best time to do it. Think of it as a financial guardrail that protects your future self from in-the-moment decisions.

WNPH processes self-exclusion requests within one business day of receiving your email. In most cases, accounts are suspended the same day. If you need an immediate suspension due to an urgent situation, state this clearly in your email to support@wnph.best and the team will prioritise your request.

No. When a cool-off period or self-exclusion is active, all WNPH marketing communications — email, SMS, and push notifications — are suspended for the duration. You will still receive essential account communications such as security alerts, but no promotional content.

Any cleared balance in your WNPH wallet at the time of self-exclusion will be returned to your registered GCash, Maya, or bank account after the required verification process. Pending bets are settled normally and winnings are included in the returned amount. Bonus balances that have not met wagering requirements may be forfeited.

Yes — WNPH is strictly for individuals aged 21 and above. This is a firm requirement, not a guideline. Any account found to belong to a person under 21 will be immediately closed, regardless of account history or balance. WNPH verifies age during registration and reserves the right to request supporting documents at any time.
